A place to share Stereotypes.
That all Muslims are terrorists. I live in the U.S. and my mother said her name to someone, and it was Lebanese, and that person started questioning things and looking nervous. Look, for all that think Muslims are terrorists, only a small, small, small percentage of them are terrorists. The others are good people, just like you and I. Stop being so judgemental.
That most feminists want women's superiority over men and use fake facts to prove their point. I am a feminist, and I think about equality between men and women. Plus, for those who see for the first time a post from me, you might think that because I am a feminist, I am a girl. WRONG.
That all people who live in Wisconsin are fat. I am LIVING PROOF THAT THIS IS FALSE!! Seriously, I am male, barely get exerciser and I love foods like pizza, but I am so thin, my body could pass as a woman.
A very flat chested woman.
Autism is one of the most stereotyped things in the world. A depressingly large number of people think that ALL types of autism makes people severely mentally challenged and unable to understand basic concepts, when that is in fact only a very small minority. Ignorant asshats also love to use autism as an insult.
(Maybe this should have been in the vent catagory, I have mild autism and can get quite worked up over this).
